When an equivalent change lands ahead of a queued pull request, rebasing drops all of its commits and the merge leaves the base branch untouched — while GitHub still marks the pull request merged and still shows its full diff.

The Merge Queue Status comment now says so. A "Nothing landed" section explains both why the base branch is unchanged and why the Files changed tab still shows the whole diff, so the author no longer goes hunting for a commit that reached no branch.
